Wanju joined Jason Bruges Studio in 2007 after taking part in 100% Futures and following her internship has remained full-time. She received her MA in Metal Art & Design at Hong-ik University in Seoul and worked in architecture practice in South Korea where she developed bespoke lighting and furniture. She then studied an MA in Design Products at the Royal College of Art in London. At Jason Bruges Studio Wanju draws on her background in craft-led design and art, combining it with her interest in new processes and technologies to help create effects for installations with a strong aesthetic quality.
